Artist's Comments

EDIT! Sorry about shoving this in people's inboxes again, but, Let it be known that this slightly disturbes even me!
--------------------------------
There I am!

I admit, this isn't really a photo, but I've no idea where else I'd put it. You see...the band was over the other night, and I was asked to draw something for the album cover they were working on. (This isn't it don't worry.) After the album art was finished, they went to go and scan it (some of you know where this is going), but got...eh...distracted...by the strange phenomenon us artists call a scanner. They amused themselves for the better part of a half-hour by scanning their faces...Intrigued by how some of the images turned out, I joined in on the fun, though only once (feeling extremely unintelligent while doing so.)

The only difference was that I tried to make it turn out a certain way, and, to be perfectly honest, I couldn't ask for a closer image to what I pictured in my head.

Enjoy.

(Oh, is it just me, or does this not remind you of the merepeople from the fourth Harry Potter movie?)

You have an artistic eye for things. Whereas some see things one way, you have the "vision" to see it another way, and turn something into art. Glad you fore-filled your vision.

I'm highly disturbed by this image, but I think that's what makes me like it so much. It's very very creepy and sends a chill up your spine while at the same time you sorta can't take your eyes off of it. Wonderfully done.

Whoa, this image is so terribly, wonderfully you. It does look like you're underwater..

Reminds me of whenever my mom or sister walk into my room and scream because they didn't expect to see some pale creature with giant circles around its eyes, dark bangs in face, standing in front of her mirror in a fluffy red robe that apparently blends in with the covers in the background. ( runon and on O.o )

Looks like being covered under ice and no way to escape from this wet grave ... Anyways: nice "photo"

Remember when I told you about how my mother told me when I was little that if I got anything wrapped around my neck, that I would die in my sleep? Well, I got a wonderful picture of that, but forced myself to delete it by just thinking of what she'd do if she saw it.
My parents are definately the type that don't understand concept art.
Anyway, this just reminded me of that..

So this is what you've been doing all this time! Scanning yourself is very fun though... I know... :evillaugh:

I keep imagining what that would look like if someone happened to walk into the room while you were smashing your face against the scanner... Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...Ooookaaaaaaay...

Oh, I'm not done uploading just yet. I've got a few more tricks up my sleeve. Speaking of which, I WILL have Chapter One IN YOUR HANDS as soon as possible. There's something I noticed that needs fixing: I actually managed, somwhow, to completely skip several scenes essential to the chapter. How could I? (Next time I see you, I'll actually have an adequate "bedtime story" to tell. I don't even know if I'm gonna use the concept yet, as it's flexible. But it's gonna blow your mind!)

Ah, I only scanned my face once, in the presence of Taylor, Steven, Duncan and Parker. Wheras they each have about five of themselves. If someone were to walk in kind of at random...like, while I was all alone and I had my face pressed up against the scanner...that would be pretty fucked up. Hey, YOU said scanning yourself hurts (or something to that effect)!
I was expecting something painful, and I didn't feel a thing!

whoa, creepy and cool at the same time. You have a unique style of things, I like it, you've got a great imagination. Keep up the excellent work!

:icontsiverwolf:
Yeh, sure that's what you said last time and the time before that and the time before that and.... :blahblah:

And scanning myself did hurt! Maybe my skin's just messed up but my hand felt like it was burning after I scanned it. But I'm weird that way.
:iconsolemyn-fade:
Oh, I know all about my excuses! Pshaw! This time, you'll have it when I see you. No kidding, I'm editing the thing by hand as we speak. Type. Communicate. Whatever. And after that...well, I just need to fix it on the computer, print off another copy, and it's all yours. (No kidding about that bedtime story, either. I gaurantee I won't forget anything, and you'll love it. All of the possibilities now that I have the ending decided.)

It didn't hurt me at all, the scanning! Maybe it just varies from scanner to scanner...who knows?
